Does anyone have an idea of the best way to get rid of ticks? Over the past few weeks we have noticed them popping up on the dogs and in the house (YIKES!)
We tried the over the counter shampoo and that worked - but we can't bathe the dogs everyday! We also tried the oil (chemical) that you put on the back of the dogs neck and back, and that's not working. I hate to use a flea/tick collar because the dogs always bite each other's neck as they play - I don't want their mouths on the pesticides.
We've treated the yard with Diazonon, no luck! Basically we just take the ticks off the dogs each day. I've always been successful in the battle with fleas, but these ticks have us beat so far! I hate to use chemicals, but we have to get rid of them. Any ideas on what to use?
Thanks!
Erin
