Hey CountryBumpkin............jump on in with both feet!
Welcome from NE Texas.
I would love to know which state you are in!! I am a zone 7 Virginian!! Well, not really - a transplanted English Virginian...lol!! Welcome and glad to have you join us!!

Welcome from Ky. I think we have kinda already met I will get your seeds out soon. lol
Thank you each and every one of you wonderful people for the warm welcomes. It is good feeling to be included in by all of you!
Louisa, I live in north Georgia, zone7. My soil is rocky, sandy, and clay. Can you see that combination? LOL It is alot of fun to work in and you only have to buy a new shovel every other digging. LOL But my plants, shrubs, trees, and even the garden pond seem to love it. I figure the sedums and succulents will love it too. *smiles*
I have a brother-in-law from Gainesville GA!! Visited only once! Sounds as though we have our work cut out for us as I too have the exact same soil and much quartz!! It is proving to be the bane of my life, but we shall persevere and hope for the best!! You must tell me what thrives for you as it seems your plants are doing well. We unfortunately have lost the top soil thanks to the builders last year. Wonder what they did with it!!! So now it's compost, compost, compost!!
