waterproofing fabric?

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Ok, here's a question for you all since I have no clue. How can I make fabric waterproof/weatherproof but still keep it's shape? Like for the yoyo's so one could hang them up outside

Easier to buy fabric that's treated... I use a waterproof fabric that I buy to make dog coats... It's treated with Gore-Tex. It doesn't feel like plastic, yet I can put a quart of water in it, hold the 4 corners, and it doesn't leak.

Most of the after-market things (spray-on) don't seem to work very well, IMO.

could you use a beeswax? They used to make weather proof coats with waxed fabric before plastic. Hmmm, maybe I'll try that and let you know.

Let me know if you try it and it works :)
