Here's a very eyecatching annual chrysanthemum called German Flag (Chrysanthemum carinatum). It has many blooms on a stem, and the foliage is very attractive, as well. They make quite a show in a border or in a pot. The plant is about 24" high, and the blooms are 2-3" in diameter.
