    This was a plant that was right outside of our motel in New Zealand and it sure looked like a pink periwinkle to me...has anyone ever seen a periwinkle this large?

    Glory, its a type of Impatiens that are grown in Southern calif. they call it poor man's rhododendron out there..it will grow form seeds. I love these..but won't grow well here in midwest. :-(

    Very beautiful. I bet it would do good for you.
    In Mexico they have periwinkles like big bushes. I couldn't believe the sizes of some of the things we grow as annuals here.
