SOLVED: Another groundcover?

This came from the same friend as the cypress spurge you all identified so quick I know it really spreads this was just a small piece last fall. Any ideas?

They look like a member of the buttercup family(see Baa'<).Mine have single yellow flower and while pretty in the spring and having interesting spotted leaf, they are where they crowd more favorable plants and I dig them out every year.
