I have been given a privalge of some seeds from a here to fore unregistered heirloom.

History A german brought these seeds with him from Germany circa WW1, The gal that gave them to me said that "The Old German" gave her Great Aunt these seeds in the 1930's.

Plant

The plant grows from 6 to 8ft tall. Produces only 3 fruits per plant. First one ave 9" dia, second 8 1/2" dia and 3rd 8 1/4 in dia.

Attempts to find.

I had a discussion with Dr Roger Chetelat, Curator at UC Davis for the Tomato USDA GRIN. He has never heard of a plant like this. Had chat with Dr Randy Gardener from NCSU and owner of Mountain Seeds. He has never heard of this one either.

Now my thoughts are like this.

1. If I look at the Big Zac which was once a world record holder for size. Appears to be in about the same size range as these.

The prev owner never tried to push for size. Debating if I should try for my 20 min in the Sun.

2. Thoughts of commercializing ?
Think that there would be any interest?

Your thoughts.
