| Wow, I love this photo. Was the color of the photo enhanced? If not, I would love to have Muscari this color. Is it a particular cultivar?
Great photo!!! |

| I was a bit worried about you Evert, because I know your family likes to travel and I thought during the Christmas Holidays you might have gone on a trip. I'm glad you were not in Sri Lanka or any of the areas affected by the sunamis.. |

| Well, we almost ordered a trip to Thailand for January but I wanted to go somewhere else so we choosed The Gambia. I'm glad of my decision now.. We will leave on Feb 18th. |

| thank goodness you didn't go to Thailand. We can get the impression, from television reports, that there was just one big wave, but apparently many. And I misspelled, it's Tsunami.

| Here it's a big thing, the biggest loss of Finnish people in the time of peace.. And even bigger in Sweden. We had a national sorrow day yesterday all over Norden at least. |

| What do you mean by "Norden"? Is it the area of Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland that we refer to as Scandinavia? |

| Yes, exactly.. + Iceland, Faroe Islands.
But.. Switzerland?? No.. It's far away from here. :/
Finland is actually not a part of Scandinavia, but it's ok to call the area Scandinavia. Norden is a Swedish expression that is sometimes used in English as well. In Finnish it would be "Pohjola or Pohjoismaat" :)

| Now I'm getting my European map out. I hate not knowing where places are. Geography has always been fun to me. |
