Today I heard some people talking about stay at home moms, and what it does to our children- mostly to our sons.
This person said that she thinks by staying at home and doing all of the work, we are teaching our sons that all of the housework is the women's job. She went on to say that this is the very reason that women _should_ work outside of the home- to teach our sons that housework should be done equally.
I don't agree with her last statement, but her talk did make me think a little bit.
Are you in sole charge of your housework? If so, do your kids have chores that they do? If you hubby doesn't do chores, are you teaching your sons this is how it should be, if not, how?
An interesting study...
