Can anyone offer any personal advice or reading advice on starting a market growing business? My husband and I have been thinking of using some of our land to make a little extra money off of. We just purchased the property in December and have been cleaning it up ever since, pulling out dried up weeds over 7 feet tall! It would take us a few years to get the land ready for planting but we felt it would be good to do as much research as possible before starting. We have 16 1/2 acres at present with a small creek an a couple ponds. Also we have many well established blackberry patches. We thought about trying to sell some of the berries this year. Would we need a licsense for that?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
