I have always used this as a house plant not outdoors but could be a good ground cover I suspose

For the record, I definitely don't grow it deliberatey. (Didn't plant the silver maple either, but that's another story ;o)

My grandmother lives in (Zone 5b) and she hates creeping charlie because it always takes over her lawn.

I have been trying to get rid of this terrible WEED since I have lived in my home. From a distance it looks like you have grass, but close up you know it takes over.
If anyone knows of a natural way (I have a puppy) to rid my yard of this monster, please let me know!
