My wife brought these back from Thomas Jefferson's home in Virginia last year. I've never been much for annuals and I didn't want to put much into raising them. I threw them down on some heavy clay soil and scraped it up a little this spring. To my surprise, I soon had all kinds of them coming up. I've thinned them out a little and bugs have attacked them but they seem to be doing very well with little care. I've been making sure they stay moist so the hard clay doesn't dry like a rock. I hope they grow up to be big boys and girls :D Then maybe I can put some on my head like Dave did :)
