We have a brick raised ranch with a 13Dx15W' patio out behind it. We'd like to build some sort of freestanding (or attached) roofed structure for shade, maybe putting the corrugated (?) fiberglas roofing on it. Does anyone have any ideas or links to plans for this sort of thing? We're new at this! :)
Here's the back of our house as it appeared in April 1999 when we first saw it. The pond and garden are now taking up everything left of the patio, and the fir trees' bottom 10' or so of branches are cut now. But the patio area is the same, with the exception of gardens in the surrounding beds.
