First of all, please let me give everyone who has posted a big Thank You! If it wasn't for the members here and their knowledge I'd still be planting hybrids. Although I have had to sit on the sidelines because of my lack of knowledge, these discussions has given me alot of insight - not to mention the unexpected benefit of additional knowledge too. If you wouldn't have had these discussions or differences of opinions I would have missed out on alot - as well as the other folks who have been watching this thread. Just because someone hasn't posted, it doesn't mean they haven't been lurking and learning from these posts.
I started this thread to express my personal thoughts once Dave felt it best to close the other one. In my own opinion, friendly or challenging discourse is great as long as no one's feeling's are hurt. How else will others learn and take notice about heirloom's? Is there any way we can do this? I hope we can.
