does anyone have any advice on the germination of psilostemon. So far I have had no success.

I collected seed last year and planted them straight away. most are now up. the seeds have come from a plant which can stand upright even after rain and strong winds. there is nothing around it for support. I'll take photo soon.

Thanks Mark It would seem the fresher the better is the answer.
