Looks like a species of Rhubarb - Rheum. There are quite a few large plants in the genus.

It looks like a Bright Lights Swiss Chard that's overwintered and is getting ready to bloom.

bingo.. no bloom yet it dosn't know it is a year old yet. it is sending shoots from the sides it was in the green house over the winter and is still growing i wonder if it will ast as a house plant or go into bloom. i know parsley goes to seed any way .
