    I stopped at a yard sale the other day. she didn't have plants for sale, but I spotted this in her yard. She dug up some and gave it to me. Neither of us know what it is.

    The leaves & flower look very similar to our wild buttercup, except they are yellow. They spread like a weed! The Buttercup I have has very shiny petals, like they have been varnished!
