Anyone know what these are? They are very small purplish/pink. Flowers are about 3/8 inch wide and grow in clusters

My guess would be Dianthus carthusianorum http://plantsdatabase.com/go/2276/

My guess is some sort of dianthus as well, but the things are about 5 ft tall! Can Dianthus carthusianorum get that tall?
