We are 1/2 a block away from the Cuyahoga River and 1/4 mile from Silver Lake...
Neighbor just informed me the reason all our neighbors are so intense about watering is that we are on river silt and it does not hold water, so our grass is all dying...
My question is this: if I get a spreader and distribute some rich kind of soil over the river silt we are sitting on, will it help the soil hold water so the grass won't die out every summer?
