SOLVED: Please help me id this vine.

Does anyone know what the name of this vine?

is it Canary Island Ivy? ... http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/factsheets/vines/hedera_canariensis.html , it is so difficult to distinguished the vine from the photo u have. hth... ma vie

well the vine that is hanging down looks just like some vinca vine i have in a pot of var swedish ivy......so much for my help...nice one though.....cindy

The green/white part looks like variegated vinca major. Is that white part on top coming from the same vine as the green? NEAT!

I not sure what it is but the flower is coming out of the plant and it is a pale yellow. This is the first time I have seen one flower. I thought that it was growing beside the plant but on closer inspection I find that it is on the vine.
It has grown and I will try to get a better picture of it so you can see that the flower is on the plant and I hope the yellow shows up better, I will post it here.

Hmmmm, I thought that all vinca majors had lavender/purple blooms. I could be wrong on either count ~ the ID or that they only have purple blooms.

MaVie I don't think it's a ivy, I know that it is hard to see but I am going to post a better picture then maybe you can see it a little better.
