Dave, do you leave your Jacobinia out all winter??? I have one that I was afraid to leave out. Sure would like to know if it is hardy this far north.

Yes. we do leave them in all winter. They die to the root but came back very strong in the spring.

Yep, I guess you'd say we "push the zone" on this one. Mind you, half our brugs usually also come back from the root, too. It's worth a try. With proper mulching, just about anything is root-hardy. :)

I don't see why not. We have a mix, and none are under 24" tall. Most are 3-4 feet tall.

Will have to check suppliers, I think the kind we had was a creeping phlox! Thanks dave :) Wasn't aware of taller varieties!

Creeping Phlox is also called Thrift. The tall variety is al together different. The creeping type blooms in early spring, the tall variety blooms later in the summer.

I bought 3 of these at a local nursery today. I plan to make cuttings from them.
I got rose, white, and pink.
Can someone tell me what the difference in rose and pink? Is the pink just slightly lighter?
Thanks for any info.
Tricia
