I've been buying tomatoes at a nearby produce stand and the last one I bought developed a rotten spot on the stem end. When I cut it open, the seeds inside the tomato were sprouted. Anyone know what would cause this?
Just for the record, I DO have tomato plants and they DO have tiny little green tomatoes on them, but I couldn't wait that long! by the way, the seeds were from Dave and Melody (I think, Jaune Flamme and Tip Top) and they all germinated wonderfully.
