I Found the firt one in my life at a produce stand. And the girl couldn't tell me much about it.I live in Anderson,S.C.,
The climate is fairly warm .Will This come back next year or have i wasted my money?I try to plant only perennials.
And do I plant it in full sun etc.?
What zone are you in? That would help everyone here try to help you.
I am in zone 4, and I lost mine last year because we had a surprise frost and I didn't have it in yet. Gonna be smarter with my new babies. This is the most stunning plant!
In zone 5 it is not hardy. I grew mine in a very large container in full sun. In early June I pinched it back for a fuller plant. It responded beautifully.
does that gorgeous plant produce seeds ? if not is there anybody that would like to trade a rooted cutting with me ? if so please check my list of seeds at http://www.gardenpassion.net/soloaccion/details3.cfm?recordI... I may even be able to send small plants
