I can't remember which Phlox I received in trade a few years ago. Phlox paniculata 'David' or Phlox carolina 'Miss Lingard' or another?

I think it is David. It looks a lot like the one I got in a secret trade last year.

I think it's 'David' also. I have several.

I hate to be a nay-sayer... but how can you tell the difference from a picture?? To me it looks like a white phlox!! LOl. I have one that is NOT 'David' but it looks the same as this one. I think mine is 'Mt.Fuji' but that's just a guess based on where I got it.

poppysue... I first understood the choice was just between 2 options, but now when I read the question more carefully, I'm see differently. 'Miss Lingard' in my opinion has more dominant yellow eyes in the small flowers, and I thought the photo looked like my 'David', hence my answer. I'm willing to be wrong as I'm quite new at this!

" It looks like "David" to me. My "Miss Lindgard" has a more oval form and is less densely packed with flowers.
