Anyone already with a list of reference means,
please add your contribution!!
trying to ID wild plants in Crete is no easy
job for a newcomer like me.
Particularly interested in wildflowers, but other plants as well...
many thanks in advance

I did a search and came up with a few books that may help. There are several titles at this link

One at the bottom of the list ~ "Wildflowers of Crete" by George Sfikas ~ looks like it could be just what your looking for.

I'm not sure if you can purchase them through this site - It's a start anyway ... and can give you some titles to look for. Also check out the Mediterranean Garden Society
It may have some additional sources for you.
