your moss rose half-open like roses, look very nice :)
I am new in PDB, I would really like to plant some of these but I m not sure how to get maybe some seeds from you...
Hi Lyn! Welcome to DG. This is a great website to find almost anything you might be looking for. You can list what you have to trade the moss rose seeds for or ask me if I am willing to let the seeds go for a sase (self addressed stamped envelope) I usually like to see a list of what you might have in case you have something I have been looking for. If you don't have any seeds yet to trade I am perfectly willing to do a sase. In that case you will need to send me an e-mail to ask me what my address is. I guess this is a good explaination...if anyone can think of a better way of explaining it feel free to add something I have left out.
Though I'm not generally a portulaca fan some were given to me as a gift and I have this salmony (like in this photo) color in the mix. Though I'm not a fan of them in general this color I really like ... since I love salmon and salmon color is (in flowers) hard to find! :)
Yes I have not seen this color this year at all. Wish I had saved some of the seeds from this hanging basket. ITs just so hard in Maine to save seeds. Short growing season. The house we are buying (soon) has a basement foundation on the side of a hill with southern exposure and large sliding glass doors and many windows.
