Have a small blue flower blooming now in zone 5. No picture available. Leaves ovate light green. This plant spreads and is about 4 inches high. Flowers are tiny in acluster and have a yellow center. They are a bright blue not dark. Anyone have any idea what I might have that is spring blooming and so amal and low and spreads/

Could be Sue but the flowers are right on the head of the plant instead of above the plant and only on cluster of flowers per plant??

Maybe one of the many varieties of Nemophilia (Baby Blue Eyes)? Haven't any first-hand experience with them, but am growing some from seed this year.

Could it be speedwell? (Veronica). I have the Georgia Blue and it sounds like your plant.

Dont believe so Louisa. The flower heads are compact and rather flat
