SOLVED: Rare visitor

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

This fellow was lurking beneath a pot and when he climbed up this one I was ready with the camera and this Chameleon waited till the shutter did its job. Look at its long tail. By the way, what is this plant?

I have identified the plant as Senecio jacobsenii. It is now flowering at the tip of the branch (not in pic).
