I see lots of threads about tomatoes but as carolyn has pointed out there are other heirloom species out there and i for one love the heirloom onions. I have yet to grow any onions out for seed as the heirlooms sell like hotcakes at market and I haven't saved any bulbs for seed
The onions I like growing/have grown are Ailsa Craig, Walla Walla and Bennies Red. I have also grown the Italian bottle onions but I was not too impressed.
Any Other Onion lovers out there? What are you growing?
