She ain't purty, but my, oh, my, how delicious... I cannot even begin to describe the luscious taste!
This is my first ripe tomato this year. Even the heirloom tomatoes from the tailgate market don't taste real compared to this one... it's a Brandywine. It was not the largest on the vines, only the first to ripen, but it made 3 huge BLT sandwiches and still have 1/4 left. I only have room for half a dozen tomato plants, and they have to be planted in the front yard to get enough sun. Makes quite an addition to my flower beds, LOL.
