    No photo, have to figure out scanner and sending. Plant grows in rosette pattern , leaves look like the indoor mums or columbines , three leaves on stem larger one on top , next two opposite each other and smaller with light green splotches on leaves; flower single petaled , bright yellow, size of a dime-aggressive- likes moist shade. Would like to know plant, before I toss another bucketful in the compost heap.

    Yes - I'd agree with ceder - it sounds like creeping buttercup. http://www.agf.gov.bc.ca/croplive/cropprot/weedguid/butter.h...

    Thanks, that is what it is and it is going to the compost heap again this year.
