Can anyone give me an idea as to what this plants may be? The flower looks like Edelweiss and is star-shaped and white, blooming now. The leaves are like onion grass but not as long. The plants are about 4 inches in height. I just noticed them today amongst my grass, which needs to be cut. These are cute flowers and I may transplant them if I get a clue as to what they are. Thanks :)

That's it, Dave! After reading about this versatile plant.."weed"..I have just the spot for it to grow in a rock garden. It really is a pretty flower but you must know that by the thousands on your place..lol. Thanks again!
