We're thinking of buying an 8HP Simplicity chipper/shredder. We've never heard of this make before and want to know if anyone else has heard of them, has had experience with them, etc. I have learned it is made in Wisconsin and several stores within driving distance carry them so we'll be looking at them hopefully next week. Price is $750 at Feldmans in Odessa, MO.

My Dad had a Simplicity tiller for years and didn't have any problems with it at all. In fact my sister is still using it.
It must be 25-30 years old and still running great ( hey just like me... he-he)

Thanks, Paul. You're the first person I've heard from who has even heard of them. However, they must be popular in the K.C.,MO area because a lot of stores up there carry them. We're hoping to look at one tomorrow.
