Can anyone identify this plant? It looks like a fern to me, but I don't know much about ferns. Thanks for any help.

Yes, it is a sensitive fern. Let me know if you want the latin name and I'll look it up.

Here's a link to a picture of Onoclea sensibis ("Sensitive Fern".)

Tree_Climber, take a look at tell us if it's a better match to your plant than what the pictures indicate. I don't think you have a Sensitive Fern, as your picture almost looks like oak tree leaves, and sensitive fern have more finely divided, sharp leaves. I know you don't have an oak tree, but I'm not sure we've accurately ID'd your plant yet.
