I've had this shrub since I moved here, and I've only known it as a potentilla. I've tried to track down the type and it's latin name, but not having any luck. Can you help?

I'll also post a picture it a close up of the flower in another post titled Potentilla flower.

Yes Baa. The habit and colour etc look very like 'Elizabeth' to me.

I do think that is IS Elizabeth, judging from the links. Thank you all so much, and I'm sorry I'm so late in responding to this. We have been trying to finish up our new house, pack up the old house and id all the plants we are going to move. It's been very hectic and I somehow forgot to mark this thread to 'watch', but tonight when I was wondering about it, I found it again. Thanks again for all your help.
