There is a post entitled "Is this Blue Cohosh" posted by me earlier. It shows a large group of this plant. This is a close up of the leaves in hopes that it may help in identifying this plant.

well, now I am not sure. The leaves look like they are lobed, which I have never seen with sasparilla. I am not familiar with blue cohosh, so this could be it

I'd say it's the blue cohosh. Here are some pictures of the celendine. It has a serrated edge to the leaf
