Oriental Lily 'Star Gazer'
Lilium
Hybridized by L. Woodriff, 1978
Additional info: (aka Stargazer)

These tend to multiply every year in my garden and are always a welcome sight.

Wow, aren't they beautiful!? Your photo of the Stargazer could have been taken in my backyard - the flowers are identical to the ones I have here in West Palm Beach, FL.
I don't know if I can grow them successfully out of a pot here, but will attempt that now this spring.

Yes, they are stunning and smell so good. I bought a big pot last year
and then after they had wilted I put them in the yard and they have not come back up this spring. Don't know if they will or not., I got them from walmart and they said they would come back up. Hope you have better luck than I did. Fran

Why out of pots? Mine come up every year here in Zone 6 and are just as lovely as always every year.
