In Romania we call these plants "little peach trees" because of teir seeds. I plant them in our block's garden. Last year I planted them for the first time and I was wondering if you could tell me : it's allright if I seed the plants directly on the ground. Last year I seeded them first in a bowl and then, when the plants grew I planted them in the garden. They were allright at first, but then they got ill, the leaves were dry and had something white on them. Now I found out that it isn't good to plant them in full sun. Where do you plant them ?

Mine are in full hot Georgia sun and spread like wildfire. I have heard that they also do well in shade. I would just sow them on the ground like Mother Nature does.

Thank you for your answer. I'll follow your advice. I'll sent you a message in summer to tell you how it worked out.
