Hello everyone. I'm new to this website and just signed in. I'm 32 years old and expecting my first child in September. I have started checking into daycare options, but I know in my heart that I want to be at home with my baby for at least the first year. I went to a daycare today and, in the infant room, it was 10 babies to three caregivers. Anyway, the problem is that my husband refuses to let me stay home, and I really resent the fact that he can just stuff our child into a daycare after six weeks. Anyway, I've heard there are articles out there that show with the costs of daycare, lunches, clothes, etc... the new mom actually doesn't make a lot of money. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Maybe if I show these to my husband, it will start a discussion.
