Well, they say no good deed goes unpunished. Sometimes that's true, but sometimes it's a total falsehood - like today. A few days ago, I was glad to help a new member Barry Kooda identify his rescued bulbs - we think they're Milk and Wine (Crinum zeylanicum).

By way of thanks, Barry offered to share some of them with me. (What a generous offer!) Over the weekend, I did a little studying on where/how to best plant them, and I'm happy to report they arrived today, and they're already in their new home. Barry, thank you so much for sharing - they were in wonderful condition. And what a cool story I get to tell everybody about where those bulbs came from...
