    The leaf is the same as far as the feel and firmness and veins but it sure doesn't look the same side by side does it?

    The only papayas I've seen are in the grocery store, lol. I did see big trees of them in Mexico, but didn't get that close to them.

    A young papaya says the future DH. He went out and took another close look at it this afternoon. He has 3 (others)now so it looks like y'all are right. Thanks for all your help! Does anyone want a baby papaya tree?? Cala?

    if i were u, i would keep whatever u have at hand. there are two kinds of papaya: one is the female that will bear fruit for U. the other one is male. u will need both if not mistaken. i sent u url on the other thread to learn more.
