Is this plant a vine or does it make a bush or does it grow like a banana tree? It is beautiful. Is it tropical or sub-tropical? How far south will it make it with protection of the roots? Do you have any to trade or share?Thanks, Ellen

It's a vine, a very large vine. It's not hardy here in zone 7, don't know how far south one would have to live for it to be hardy.
