Gorgeous flowers! Unbelievable that they are real. I finally bought one after Valentine's Day this year. It is already getting warm in my area, so I don't know if it will do very well. I finally moved it (potted) to a space by my front door. I am hoping that it will come back to bloom again in the spring. SOOOOOOOOOOOO lovely!

Well, it is now December 29 and I think I can detect about 3 sprouts in my bleeding heart flower pot. Perhaps I will get my plant back to live again for another Valentine's Day! I do hope so.

It is now February 9, but the sprouts are just sitting there. I usually see flowering plants in the nurseries for Valentine's Day...but maybe they are 'forced' just like poinsettias are for Christmas. When do these plants start to bloom naturally?

Well, it is now March 2...and I do have little sprouts on my plant. Hallelujah! I guess they must force the plant to bloom for Valentine's Day. I am so glad that I will see the little hearts once again this year.

I love bleeding hearts too! I just wish they'd bloom longer... They were a favorite of mine when I was a little girl. I think they are enchanting. This is an old pic I entered into the photo contest a few years ago.
