What a wonderful photo, Evert. You have a "good eye" for photography, and you must have a really good camera! I didn't realize Lunaria annua has such a pretty bloom. It's usually advertised for use in dry flower arrangements.

:} Well, I wouldn't call my camera good.. ˙es, Lunaria has got pretty flowers :)

You must have a good zoom lense to take such clear close-ups. Mine gets fuzzy when I zoom in, but then, again, I'm one of those sad old point and shoot photographers!

I don't have any extra lenses for my camera, I use the Macro-option. :) My camera makes usually really bad "normal photos", it takes better macro pics :]

I'll have to read my instruction book, I guess. To ask a stupid question, what does "macro" mean?

Helsinki, Finland(Zone 4b)

In latin macro means big. And micro small. I think.

Yes, that makes sense, Evert. It always pays off to ask a person with a logical mind! I get so buried in details, I often miss the big picture... or should I say, they macro image!
