Hi SMD, This vine is easily 60' long. It drapes along a 10' high chain link fence. It was beautiful, in full bloom with the big solitary bees all over it! I don't know about growing it as an annual but I'd imagine that question could be answered in the Tropical Forum
Look at how big the vine is in Wingnuts pictures in the PDB!
I realize this is a picture from a year ago, but it sure is a stunning photo! I'd like to try growing it as an annual also. Beautiful blooms. Any more info on growing it in frosty zones? Thanks.
I tried to grow it via softwood and also hardwood cuttings but as of now, it does not seem successful. Shoots did come out but withered away as the cutting started to dry out. I water it twice a day.
I collected some of the flowers and am in the process of drying them out before I begin planting them. Any advice on successful planting from seeds would be greatly appreciated!!!
