    Do you think the would grow here? I have hostas, but I've never grown these.

    Well, they are a shade plant here and like a drop of moisture
    (lol, i've just read the thread re your flood situation, do hope you're OK) Tomcats don't like getting their feet wet ;)
    I think it'd be worth a go.

    Thanks, Phil, I'd love to try them. Yes, Tom Cats aren't fond of wet feet, and this one has been hissing and grumbling a bit. He's been sloshing around all stiff-legged, but that could just be the arthritis in his knees!
