Lisa or anyone else that has experience or planning on getting in on this market...
How is this idea going? I would love to get into this market. I have always wanted to grow flowers for my own wedding one day... long ways away. I was looking at all the beautiful flowers in Country Living magazine and just love all the purple tulips, calla lilies, lilacs, etc. I would love to get into the business of selling for special occasions.
How would you go about this? Would you plant specifics when given plenty of notice like in the case of a wedding? I notices in the pictures all these flowers they had were all from different seasons. Around here they all blooms at totally differnt times.
Also, how do you break into selling to the florists? Any suggestions on selling cut flowers to any market other than the farmers market would be greatly appreciated.
