I love those. I had one at one time that I got at Lowes. It eventually died, but I still have the tree in my living room that it was growing on (there were several varieties). The tree itself is so interesting I left it as a focal point next to the door.
I, too, have one of these but didn't know it until now! It is an unusual plant, indeed. It sits up on one of my overhead beams where the south sun can reach it. I like the plant, but I'm not fond of the little stickers along its leaves!
I used to have one but it died - it made 5 babies thoguh but I gave 2 of them to my friends and 3 died. Finally the ones I gave to my friends died too. *Sigh*
this is indeed my favorite bromelaid.
does anyone have them for sale or to trade as i have amyrillas bulbs, hidden lillies, and purple german irises
thanks
