I have recently purchased a mini-green house (small - 2 shelves with plastic cover) for the purpose of rooting cuttings.
I am very new at this - and since the book "rooting cuttings for dummies" doesn't exist I need a little help.
Right now I have it indoors facing a West window because it has been getting quite cold.
Would it be best for me to get a heating pad and move this out to my West facing deck? Would it be better to face another direction?
Also - my DH was wondering if it would be OK to just leave it outside during the day with no heat and move it into our house at night. (He has no idea - he just doesn't like the idea of the electricity constantly running for the heating pad - and nervous about a fire hazard).
Thanks!
Any other advice will be so appreciated. I really want this to work.
