First year planting malva sylvestris, Zebrina, and a few of her sisters. So far, doing well - even with heavy VA rains! Is deadheading necessary and are chances good they will overwinter in zone 7?? Any info is appreciated!!! Thanks
Hi, Joshuatoo. Yes, I should think they'd winter over just fine in your area. In fact, they may also reseed like crazy if you give them a spot to do so. I've never deadheaded mine, and they just keep on blooming until the frost gets them.
